The daily papers talk of everything except the daily. The papers annoy me, they teach me nothing. What they recount doesn’t concern me, doesn’t ask me questions and doesn’t answer the questions I ask or would like to ask.

– Georges Perec (1973)

Everyday Analysis is a semi-anonymous collective project seeking to ask new questions about the everyday in all its forms and interrogate all its signifiers. Started in December of 2013, Everyday Analysis is now a book series and blog which has had over 100 contributors in total, including writers and illustrators. The book series is with Zero Books and we have been featured in a variety of publications including The Guardian, Thought Catalog and The Huffington Post. Now we have a ‘Best of Everyday Analysis’ section at Critical-Theory, where we publish our favorite EDA article of each month.

Check our submissions page for information on how to become part of Everyday Analysis. You can also follow us on Twitter @edanalysis and check out our Facebook page. Thank you for your continuing support.
